With respect to Claim handling, Certus also has the necessary experience, in the past having assisted some of its clients with huge fire claims (e.g. in the Curacao Free Zone) and with swift disaster claims when they were urgently needed (e.g. on St. Maarten as a result of hurricane Irma in 2017).
In principal Certus works with A-rated insurance companies, but we go further. We always make sure that the insurance companies themselves are also properly reinsured.

As a standard, Certus Insurance Brokers will conduct her own inspection on the client’s premises in order to get to know the client’s business as well as to make her own risk assessment of the business.
